Pneuma: New Inquiries / The Pine Series
This is my latest and emerging work, is an inquiry into Pneuma—the Hellenic "breath of life"—and the profound relationship between the human body and the tree. In this series, the pine stands as a silent, rooted witness whose verticality reflects our own spine. I see the vagus nerve as my internal "wandering" guide, mirroring the phloem of the pine; both act as living conduits for the vital signals that regulate our existence.
Through mindful meditation and a breath-led line, I map the anatomy of the tree to the architecture of my own nervous system. By translating this unseen rhythm into visible form, I intentionally calm the ANS (Autonomic Nervous System), transforming internal constraint into a state of conscious presence. These pieces offer a space of stability and Sovereign clarity—a physical record of intentional evolution for both the artist and the viewer.
