Exhibition Announcement: Celebrating International Women’s Month at the Greek Consulate NYC
I am honored to participate in the upcoming group exhibition, Euclid’s Finite to Zeno’s Infinite: Hellenic-American Women Artists, at the Consulate General of Greece in New York. Curated by Dr. Thalia Vrachopoulos, this show explores the dialectic between measure and mystery—a theme that deeply resonates with my current focus on Internal Constraint and luminous abstraction.
Dates: March 4 – March 31, 2026.

This exhibition features several large oil and acrylic paintings, including works from my Long Covid and Unbound series, alongside newer pieces. Many of these paintings explore the female body navigating complex, poignant, and challenging experiences, where darkness and light coexist and the journey forward is both rugged and resilient. The Long Covid works, created during and after the pandemic, depict disconnected body parts against dark, often ominous backgrounds, reflecting the disruption of chronic illness and the desire to move beyond it. These works are deeply autobiographical, rooted in lived experience, and continue to inform my ongoing exploration of body, identity, and resilience. Triada Samaras 2024
